AI Workflow Automation Developer

About the opportunity: I'm building an AI workflow automation agency targeting Businesses in the UK and US with document-heavy manual processes. I need a skilled developer to handle the technical builds. This is not a one-off project. I'm looking for potentially a long-term build partner I can bring onto each project to help build automations. All payment would stay on upwork. You'll always receive a clear, detailed scope document before any work begins. All work and payments will be processed through Upwork. What the work looks like Each client engagement typically involves building an end-to-end automated workflow that eliminates a manual, document-heavy business process. An example of the type of system we'd be building: Typeform intake form with branching logic to capture structured client data n8n workflow to validate, route, and process that data automatically OpenAI integration to assemble documents from structured data and approved templates PandaDoc integration for document creation, formatting, and e-signature CRM integration to log all client data and document status Lifecycle triggers for automated reminders and follow-up sequences The result for the end client is typically 20-40 hours of manual work eliminated per month. Required skills - n8n, core workflow automation engine, must be highly proficient - Typeform, form schema design, branching logic, API output handling - OpenAI / LLM API integration, structured prompt engineering, document assembly - PandaDoc API, automated document creation, template population, e-signature workflows - CRM integrations , experience with common CRMs (HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, or similar) - API and JSON handling, confident working with webhooks, REST APIs, and structured data - Error handling and logging - clean, maintainable, documented workflows Nice to have - Experience in professional services environments (legal, financial, insurance, mortgage) - Supabase, Airtable, or custom database experience - Relevance AI or similar AI agent frameworks - Experience building AI hiring or onboarding systems What I'm looking for in you - Strong portfolio of n8n automation builds, please share examples - Clear communicator, you'll be working from detailed briefs but I need someone who flags issues early - Reliable and consistent, clients depend on delivery timelines - Collaborative mindset, this could be a long-term partnership, not a transactional relationship Comfortable with a structured handover process documentation and client-ready outputs matter
