Workflow Automation & Technology Integration

We are a privately owned commercial real estate investment manager seeking an experienced consulting partner to assess, redesign, and modernize our operating model across four verticals: Finance & Accounting, Asset Management, Acquisitions and Investor Relations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis and modeling, with the ability to drive strategic change and improve efficiency. The role involves collaborating with senior leadership to implement sustainable solutions and enhance business performance. Relevant technology environments: • Yardi • Microsoft 365 • Dropbox • Microsoft OneDrive • IMS Investor Portal Scope of Work Phase I – Business Assessment & Improvement Blueprint • Map current workflows across all four verticals: Finance & Accounting, Asset Management (Operations and Finance/Leasing), Acquisitions, and Investor Relations. • Evaluate organizational handoffs, approvals, reporting, and information flow using the current organizational structure. • Identify inefficiencies, duplicate work, manual processes, and technology gaps. • Review existing technology (Yardi, Microsoft 365, Dropbox, OneDrive, IMS Investor Portal/CRM) and recommend improved utilization, automation opportunities, system integration, and appropriate AI applications. • Develop future-state workflows, standard operating procedures, KPI dashboards, executive reporting framework. Integrate systems where practical and improve reporting and data management. • Provide a recommended prioritized implementation roadmap, scope of work, timeline, and budget, which is to include any recommended documentation, training, staffing, workflow improvements, automation solutions, and AI-enabled tools. Phase II – Implementation • Fully implement approved implementation roadmap and scope of work • Integrate and upgrade new technology where appropriate. Organizational Context The consultant should consider the current organization, Business Development (Acquisitions & Fund-raising), Finance & Accounting, Asset Management (Operations and Finance/Leasing), supporting consultants, and third-party property managers and leasing firms. Recommendations should improve coordination across these groups while supporting future growth.
