Summary

Hey there, I'm looking for a long term writer for my new audio blog / project. About me: I'm Viliam and I founded integraudio.com (worked with various writers) and pluginoise.com (with Berk) Basically, the idea of writing my whole site using AI was tempting but I realized it would be as if I built it on the sand so I think hiring experienced person for this could actually help. Let me know your rate in $ for 1000 words written, if possible try to keep it realistic for both, so we could work for a long term. More notes: - You can interact and use plugins on a deep level, both - effect and instrument plugins, and your content can flow well with the images/gifs as well - Nice you have already experience writing for audio mags or blogs (attach the links / references if possible) - you also add your own audio files to the content that goes with the flow as well. What I mean by that is that the text you write will be nicely flowing with the audio section and you describe things in a nice way so people actually listen (you can also do before/after audio comparisons, A/Bing with and without effect) - Instead of static images, you are comfortable creating GIFs (that you convert to AVIFs) where you actually translate the process/steps you want to say via that animated image, so you actually show them what / how to do it via GIF(avif). These be short/longer, depends on the context. Tool to use would be ScreenToGif. - Also, never use images, the quality gets worse over time. Even if you are making a static shot, always turn the GIF into AVIF - You never write fixed wordcount. Instead, you write just enough to cover the topic well. I mean not TOO broad but enough to give a context and cover the big picture, so once the reader reads, he is fulfilled and don't need to search for another resource on that topic. - you are willing to record the entire process every time for each article. this is a must for me so I can see the process behind article creation, it's just standard part of process - you are willing to add Bio section about you + for "about" page as well, with photo and some content (could add links as well) - you can craft unique subheadings that would be tailored individually. Not like "overview", "features", "how to use it", you know what I mean, avoid generic naming, each article always need unique approach - the content you write sounds natural, genuine, is conversational but still professional and accurate. you don't make up facts, everything needs to be properly edited - You are free to use AI tools as long as it's used in a smart way and win/Win for both - for you to save time while still maintaining quality (win for me) - Not required but would be nice plus if you have some insights on how you worked with other blogs/publications so I could consider that for us. For ex. how/who choose the topics, what was the process of writing before it get published, things like that - you can do one post every 3/4 days ideally. it's not a busy schedule but later as it grows my goal is to get to 1 post per day. - article topics you would be doing would rotate once per post - for reviews you would be doing a verdict section, similar like here, where you would mention pros/cons and overal rating - https://musictech.com/reviews/software-instruments/native-instruments-kontakt-8-review/ - later ideally if you can also learn writing News type of content, and content that would be optimized for Google Discover, would be great, you know things like - tech, product deals, product launches (hardware/software), updates, rumors, stuff like that - big plus if you actually know how to collaborate with the brands, retailers, and form the partnerships (not required though) - in order to write about all sorts of topics, I think it would be required to be have a good knowledge of various worlds - synths, guitars, drums and effects in general (be it hardware or software) - also nice to have if you actually can write about hardware in a proper way, I think you don't need to own the gear as long as it's aligned with the values and editorial rules (you could tell how you would approach it so we can consider it) So here are the content types we would be doing: - "best plugins" roundups. these are the ones that I would prepare for you with plugins for each listicle as well as images (this is the only post type where you don't add images) - "audio guides/tutorials" posts. these are posts like - What does a compressor do in music?': A beginner's guide to compression (VCA, FET and Vari-Mu) - here, Use Pulsar 1178, Pulsar VM-Comp and Pulsar IPA 25 for guide - "product/brand showdowns" types of posts. Here, you are comparing two products or brands (could be hardware or software), example - Arturia vs Native Instruments: "Which Brand makes the Best Plugins & Hardware?" - "classic product reviews", like - Native Instruments Kontakt 8 Review OR could be hardware product review if you own the gear (Could be discussed) The goal would be to build long term asset, so people naturally link to it and also get monetized by ads that's why human-writtent content is important. Let me know if it's something for you, also if you can add some of your existing content would be great, thanks Viliam
