Op-Ed Writer for National U.S. Commentary on Education, AI, and the Future of Work

We’re looking for a sharp, experienced op-ed writer to help us develop publishable opinion pieces on major U.S. topics including education, AI, the future of work, and related policy and cultural issues. We are an early-stage startup with a clear point of view on these topics and need a writer who can turn strong ideas into compelling, well-argued, publication-ready essays. This is not generic content writing. We’re looking for someone who can combine rigorous thinking, credible sourcing, and strong storytelling to create op-eds that feel timely, persuasive, and nationally relevant. The ideal candidate has experience writing or ghostwriting op-eds, commentary, reported essays, or high-level thought leadership for reputable media outlets or public-facing leaders. You should be able to take a rough thesis, interview notes, internal ideas, or source material and shape them into a clear argument with a strong hook, narrative flow, and authoritative voice.
