# Job Description: Thought Leadership Writer ## Position Overview Client is looking for a part-time Thought Leadership Writer who can turn transcripts into polished, voice-aligned articles. The ideal candidate should be a strong writer who is comfortable working with AI tools, especially Claude, and can learn the client’s writing style to produce content that feels authentic, thoughtful and aligned with her voice. This role is best suited for someone who can take raw spoken content, identify the strongest ideas, organize them clearly and transform them into compelling long-form articles. ## Role Details **Position:** Thought Leadership Writer **Hours:** Part-time **Estimated Workload:** 5 to 7 articles per week to start **Time Estimate:** Around 1 hour per article **Article Length:** 1,200 to 1,500 words per article **Timezone Requirement:** Flexible, no specific timezone overlap required **Rate:** Open, based on experience **Growth Potential:** Workload is expected to increase over time ## Content Focus The writer will primarily create thought leadership articles in the areas of: * Personal transformation * Business leadership * Mindset * Growth * Leadership development * Personal and professional evolution ## Key Responsibilities * Review transcripts provided by the client and turn them into well-written thought leadership articles. * Use Claude and other AI writing tools to support the drafting process. * Learn and replicate the client’s writing style, tone and voice. * Study examples of the client’s past writing and apply that style consistently. * Organize raw transcript content into clear, engaging article structures. * Edit AI-assisted drafts to ensure the writing feels human, polished and authentic. * Complete one strong general editing pass before submitting drafts. * Ensure each article captures the client’s ideas accurately while making the content easy to read. * Maintain consistency across articles in voice, tone and quality. ## Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate should have: * Strong writing and editing skills. * Experience turning transcripts, interviews or spoken content into written articles. * Comfort using Claude or a willingness to learn quickly. * The ability to write in someone else’s voice. * Good judgment when organizing ideas from raw content. * Strong attention to detail. * An interest in personal transformation, leadership and business-related topics. * The ability to work independently and submit clean, polished drafts. ## Nice to Have * Experience writing thought leadership content. * Experience writing for founders, coaches, consultants, speakers or executives. * Familiarity with AI-assisted writing workflows. * Ability to create reusable prompts or style guides based on the client’s voice. * Experience working with long-form content between 1,200 and 1,500 words. ## Tools The writer should be comfortable using or learning: * Claude * Google Docs * Transcript documents or recordings provided by the client * AI writing style tools or prompt-based writing systems ## Success Metrics Success in this role will be measured by: * Ability to accurately capture the client’s voice. * Quality and clarity of articles produced from transcripts. * Minimal revisions required after submission. * Consistency in tone and writing style. * Ability to deliver 5 to 7 articles per week. * Responsiveness to feedback and ability to improve quickly.
