XENTRY / Mercedes-Benz Diagnostic Laptop Specialist (Remote Support)

Job Description We are looking for an experienced Mercedes-Benz XENTRY diagnostic software specialist to provide ongoing remote support for our shop. We are specifically looking for someone with experience supporting aftermarket Chinese XENTRY installations. This is not a position for someone with only dealership/XENTRY PassThru experience. We own three aftermarket XENTRY diagnostic laptops that use SDconnect C4/C5 and VXDIAG/VCX interfaces. These systems occasionally develop software, licensing, activation, or communication issues, and we need an expert who can remotely connect via AnyDesk or TeamViewer and quickly resolve them. This is not a one-time project. We are looking for someone we can rely on whenever an issue occurs. Typical Tasks: Repair XENTRY startup issues Resolve authorization/license errors Repair XENTRY after Windows updates Restore missing services or registry settings Diagnose SDconnect C4/C5 communication issues Diagnose VXDIAG / VCX interface issues Repair DoIP communication problems Fix WIS / EPC integration Configure or repair DAS Repair Java/runtime issues Restore broken installations without reinstalling whenever possible Configure networking for diagnostic interfaces Install or repair offline XENTRY releases Optimize Windows for stable XENTRY operation Hardware Experience with any of the following is required: Mercedes-Benz SDconnect C4 Mercedes-Benz SDconnect C5 VXDIAG VCX SE VXDIAG VCX NANO OpenPort / J2534 devices (preferred) Software Experience Must have experience with: XENTRY Diagnosis DAS WIS EPC DTS Monaco (preferred) Vediamo (preferred) VX Manager / VCX Manager XENTRY Diagnosis Pad releases Requirements You should: Have extensive experience repairing aftermarket XENTRY installations Understand cloned SDconnect systems Know common licensing and activation issues Be comfortable editing services, registry, networking, certificates, Java, and Windows permissions Be able to troubleshoot remotely using AnyDesk or TeamViewer Speak enough English for technical communication Be available for emergency support when needed Nice to Have Experience with: Chinese aftermarket XENTRY packages Offline activation methods Xentry OpenShell StartKey / licensing systems Engineering software Windows optimization for diagnostic laptops Current Environment Windows 10 XENTRY 09/2023 Multiple aftermarket diagnostic laptops Independent Mercedes-Benz repair shop in Georgia, USA Relationship: We are looking for a long-term technical partner, not simply someone to reinstall software.
