Xero Expert & Australian Bookkeeper Wanted

Join Our Growing Team We are currently seeking an experienced and highly capable Bookkeeper with advanced Xero expertise to support our growing Australian business. This is not an entry-level bookkeeping role. We are looking for someone who lives and breathes Xero, understands Australian accounting requirements, and can confidently maintain accurate financial records while ensuring compliance with Australian accounting and taxation standards. ## Essential Requirements ✔ Advanced to Expert-level Xero knowledge ✔ Extensive bookkeeping experience with Australian businesses ✔ Strong understanding of Australian accounting principles and standards ✔ Sound knowledge of GST, BAS, PAYG, Superannuation, Payroll and ATO compliance requirements ✔ Experience with bank reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable and month-end reporting ✔ Ability to identify and rectify bookkeeping errors and inconsistencies ✔ Strong attention to detail and organisational skills ## Highly Desirable • Xero Advisor and/or Xero Payroll Certification • Experience working with professional services, education, aviation, technology, or multi-entity businesses • Experience liaising with accountants and preparing financial records for EOFY reporting • Knowledge of Australian tax obligations and compliance frameworks ## What We're Looking For We need someone who can confidently tell us when things are right, and more importantly, when things are wrong.
