YouTube Animation Production Partner

We're looking for a talented animation producer, motion designer, or small production team to help us build a YouTube-first animated content brand. This is not a traditional commercial animation project or agency campaign. We're approaching this from a digital publishing perspective and are looking for a partner who understands how successful YouTube channels create engaging, scalable content while maintaining efficient production costs. The channel will focus on psychology, parenting, human behavior, emotions, relationships, and personal development. Think channels like Mindful Paws, Psych2Go, After Skool, Aperture, and Pursuit of Wonder. The emphasis is on strong storytelling and emotional resonance. The visuals should elevate the content and reinforce the message, but they do not need to be highly complex or feature elaborate frame-by-frame animation. What We're Trying to Build We're not looking for a one-off video. Our goal is to build a repeatable production system capable of supporting an ongoing publishing schedule. The ideal outcome is a workflow that allows us to produce high-quality videos consistently through reusable assets, templates, visual systems, AI-assisted workflows, and efficient production techniques. We're particularly interested in candidates who think like content creators and publishers rather than traditional animation studios. Initial Project The first phase will be a pilot episode approximately 8-10 minutes in length. The purpose of the pilot is to: Establish a visual identity Create a scalable production workflow Develop reusable assets Test audience response Evaluate long-term fit We will provide topic direction and creative collaboration. We're looking for a partner who can help determine the most efficient visual approach. Preferred Style We are intentionally NOT looking for: Pixar-style animation Disney-style character animation Expensive frame-by-frame animation Complex 3D production We ARE interested in: Limited animation Motion graphics Stylized characters AI-assisted illustration workflows Reusable visual assets Efficient scene construction Strong editing and pacing Skills We're Looking For Strong candidates may have experience with: YouTube content production Motion design Adobe After Effects Premiere Pro Storyboarding Character illustration Educational content Explainer videos AI image and video generation tools Experience working on successful YouTube channels is a major plus. AI Workflow Experience We're interested in candidates actively using tools such as: Midjourney Runway Kling Veo Flux Stable Diffusion ElevenLabs ChatGPT We're not looking for fully automated content. We're looking for thoughtful use of AI to improve efficiency while maintaining quality and creative control. Budget Pilot budget: $1,500-$5,000 We're ultimately looking for a production system that can support ongoing YouTube publishing economics.
