🎬 YouTube Video Editor & Content Manager (Long-Term Partnership) I’m looking for a reliable, detail-oriented YouTube Video Editor & Content Manager who can edit videos and, ideally, help manage the day-to-day publishing workflow for my YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@LangleyPrep I own an SAT tutoring company that creates educational content to help high school students improve their SAT scores. My goal is to publish content consistently every week, so communication, reliability, and organization are just as important as editing ability. Ultimately, I’d like to get to the point where I can record a lesson, upload the raw footage, and have everything else—from editing to publishing—handled by someone I trust. This is a long-term opportunity for someone who enjoys helping grow a YouTube channel—not just editing videos. Primary Responsibilities * Edit short-, medium-, and long-form YouTube videos * Remove mistakes, pauses, and unnecessary sections * Add engaging graphics, zooms, callouts, captions, and animations where appropriate * Create professional custom thumbnails * Export videos in YouTube-ready format * When appropriate, create 2–5 engaging YouTube Shorts from each long-form video to support a consistent posting schedule Nice to Have (Not Required) Experience managing a YouTube channel is a big plus. This may include: * Uploading and scheduling videos * Writing SEO-friendly titles and descriptions * Creating playlists * Adding timestamps, cards, and end screens * Publishing YouTube Shorts * Optimizing thumbnails * Reviewing analytics and suggesting improvements * Helping build a consistent content calendar If you have experience with any of these, please describe it in your proposal. Communication Expectations Communication is extremely important to me. I understand that life happens and schedules change, but I expect proactive communication. If you’re going to miss a deadline or be unavailable for more than a couple of days, I simply ask that you let me know in advance rather than leaving me wondering about the status of the project. I also expect responses to messages within one business day (Monday–Friday), even if it’s just a quick update. Reliable communication is just as important to me as the quality of the editing. Long-Term Partnership This is not a one-time project. I’m looking for someone who can become a long-term member of my team. The goal is to publish at least one high-quality YouTube video every week, along with additional Shorts created from longer videos. Please only apply if you have the capacity to take on a long-term client with consistent weekly work. If your schedule is already full or this project would only receive attention when you have spare time, this probably isn’t the right fit. Compensation I prefer fixed-price pricing by deliverable rather than hourly billing.
