YouTube Content Manager / Virtual Assistant (Long-Term) About Me I run multiple growing YouTube channels in different niches including: - Anime content - Cybersecurity / AI / tech - Soon a homesteading/property improvement channel I’m looking for someone reliable who can help manage the content side of the business so I can focus more on recording and creating. This is NOT primarily a video editing role. I already have an editor. Your role would begin AFTER the editor finishes the video. Responsibilities Upload & Publishing - Upload finished videos to YouTube - Write titles, descriptions, tags, and chapters - Schedule uploads - Add thumbnails, end screens, cards, and playlists - Ensure channel branding stays consistent Content Organization - Organize completed videos and assets - Maintain upload schedules and content calendars - Keep track of what has been uploaded and what is pending - Help maintain consistency across multiple channels Research & Content Ideas - Research trending topics and viral ideas - Monitor competitors and trends in: - Anime - Cybersecurity / AI - Homesteading / lifestyle - Suggest future video ideas and content opportunities Shorts & Repurposing Ideas - Identify potential Shorts/Reels/TikTok moments from finished videos - Suggest hooks, captions, and posting ideas - Help maximize content output from each recording session Analytics & Optimization - Track video performance - Help identify what content performs best - Suggest improvements based on retention, CTR, and engagement Ideal Candidate - Organized and proactive - Familiar with YouTube Studio workflows - Strong communication skills - Understands YouTube trends and audience retention - Familiar with anime culture/community is a big plus - Interested in AI/tech/cybersecurity is a plus - Comfortable working long-term and growing with the channels Tools Experience with some of these is helpful: - YouTube Studio - Google Drive / OneDrive - Notion / Trello / ClickUp - Discord / Slack - ChatGPT or AI tools What I’m Looking For I want someone who can become a long-term part of the operation and help remove workload from my plate by keeping content organized, scheduled, optimized, and consistently moving after the editing process is complete.
