We run a creative agency serving ecom and DTC brands doing 8 figures in revenue. We're building a YouTube channel to attract high-level brand owners and position the founder as a go-to authority in the ecom growth space. We need a YouTube Creative Strategist who actually understands ecommerce at a deep level. Not someone who's "done social media marketing" - someone who knows what it means to scale ad spend, test creatives at volume, and grow a DTC brand past 7 figures. Think content in the style of Mark Builds Brands, Ecom Moose, and Dante Timpano - real, practitioner-level value that speaks to experienced operators, not beginners looking for their first sale. What You'll Do: - Brainstorm content topics and angles with the founder based on what's actually moving the needle in ecom right now - Research topics deeply - pull data, case studies, competitor intel, and talking points that make each video genuinely valuable to someone running a brand at scale - Build full video transcripts and Miro boards for each piece of content - structured, tight, and ready for filming - Stay plugged into what's happening in the DTC ad creative world - new formats, platform shifts, scaling strategies, winning ad breakdowns - Help develop a content roadmap that maps to real business outcomes, not vanity metrics What You Need: - Deep ecommerce knowledge - Experience working with or creating content for YouTube channels in the ecom or marketing space - Strong research skills - you can take a broad topic, go deep, and come back with a structured narrative that keeps a busy founder watching - Understanding of direct response principles - this is content for people who spend real money on ads, not "5 tips to grow your Shopify store" - Excellent written English - scripts need to be sharp, conversational, and zero fluff This is NOT for you if: - You've never worked in or around ecommerce - You think content strategy means picking trending topics and writing generic outlines - You can't tell the difference between the problems of a $30K/month brand and a $500K/month brand Long-term vision: This starts as a strategic content role. For the right person, there is a revenue share opportunity on leads generated through the YouTube funnel. We're not looking for someone to execute tasks - we're looking for a strategic partner who can own this channel alongside the founder.
