# YouTube Documentary Editor Needed for Travel & Relocation Series (Long-Term) We are looking for a long-term video editor for a new YouTube series called Paychecks to Paradise. The series follows three Black African women (mother and two daughters) as we travel, evaluate, and rank cities around the world using our custom relocation scorecard system. This is NOT a typical travel vlog. This is a combination of: • Travel documentary • Lifestyle design • Relocation research • City rankings • Family discussion panel The format is primarily a multi-camera discussion, but we do not want viewers watching people sit and talk for 30 minutes. We want an editor who can bring cities to life through visual storytelling. ## What We're Looking For • Strong storytelling instincts • Documentary-style editing • Cinematic pacing • Motion graphics skills • Ability to create scorecards, leaderboards, maps, and ranking graphics • Experience integrating B-roll, travel footage, photos, stock footage, and graphics into discussion-based content • Ability to build a premium visual experience without over-editing ## Editing Philosophy Every score should have visual evidence. If we're discussing housing, show housing. If we're discussing transportation, show transportation. If we're discussing lifestyle, show the lifestyle.
