YouTube Documentary Video Editor

I am looking for a YouTube documentary video editor for an ongoing project. I am building a documentary-style media brand called Vyral Motion Media. The channel focuses on understanding how people, athletes, artists, creators, brands, teams, and cultural moments gain momentum, influence, relevance, and attention. Topics may include: • Sports • Rap & Hip-Hop Culture • Music Industry Stories • Internet Culture • Influencers & Creators • Business & Entrepreneurship • Viral Moments • Cultural Trends This is not a simple editing role. I will provide: • Full narration scripts • Documentary angle and creative direction • Feedback and revisions You will provide: • Asset sourcing and research • Footage selection • Documentary editing • Music selection • Motion graphics when appropriate • Final YouTube-ready delivery EDITING STYLE The editing style should feel similar to: • Netflix Sports Documentaries • HBO Sports • ESPN 30 for 30 • Trap Lore Ross • Patrick CC: • MagnatesMedia • SunnyV2 • Secret Base The editing should feel like a premium documentary sitting at the intersection of sports, hip-hop culture, internet culture, business, influence, and storytelling. We are not creating sports highlights. We are not creating celebrity gossip videos. We are not creating news recaps. We are not creating TikTok-style edits. We are creating culture documentaries. The goal is not simply to tell viewers what happened. The goal is to help viewers understand how momentum was created. Every visual, transition, music choice, clip selection, and pacing decision should support that objective. The audience should finish every episode feeling: "I came for the story." "I stayed for the game behind the game." REQUIREMENTS • Strong storytelling ability • Documentary editing experience • Experience sourcing footage and supporting assets • Adobe Premiere Pro proficiency • Good communication • Ability to work from scripts and creative direction The first project is a longer documentary episode that will establish the editing style and workflow for the channel. This is intended to become an ongoing relationship with future documentary episodes.
