YouTube First-Cut Editor (Storytelling & Retention)

I’m looking for a long-form YouTube editor to create first cuts for my channel. This role is focused on editing full-length videos, not flashy effects, transitions, or Shorts. The ideal candidate will have experience in video editing and be able to deliver high-quality first cuts efficiently. This is NOT a role focused on flashy effects, transitions, or Shorts. The goal is to take raw footage and create a strong first-cut timeline that identifies the story, removes dead air, and builds a logical narrative structure. This is a channel regarding Pokemon content. It includes challenges, travel, collectibles as well as documentary style YouTube content. Videos are 8-20 mins long Please show me your best long form YouTube edit, and the word Pikachu at the start of your application so I know you read this I care about story telling, pacing and viewer retention.
