YouTube Movie Recap Video Editor

We are looking for a strong Video Editor to collaborate with us on a movie recap channel on YouTube. We are building atmospheric, cinematic narratives and need an editor who understands pacing, tension, and visual understatement to fit the tone of the movies we cover. The scripts are written in a tight, active present tense, so we need an editor who knows how to utilize silence, execute sharp match-cuts, and perfectly sync the visuals to what the VO track is describing. You'll also be responsible for layering in the music and mixing in native movie dialogue clips (3-5 seconds long) to punctuate moments. Videos scripts range in length from approximately 4,000 to 5,000 words, and each project includes a few 60-second vertical shorts for the same movie. There is potential for the right person to step into a highly consistent, long-term production pipeline with multiple videos per week, so please submit your reel or portfolio of narrative-driven work!
