YouTube Production Coach & Mentor (Remote) About Us We are building two educational YouTube channels focused on long-form interviews, sports analytics, AI-assisted production and decision making. Our immediate priority is not simply producing videos. Our priority is building an internal production capability so that we can independently record, edit, package and publish professional YouTube and podcast content. We seek the right person to both support production of Riverside interview-based video's into YouTube and Podcast episodes. The Role We are looking for someone who speaks excellent English and enjoys teaching. Initially rather than just editing videos for us, your primary role will be coaching me live via Microsoft Teams while I share my screen. You'll teach me how to confidently produce high-quality YouTube content from start to finish. What You'll Help With Riverside recording workflow Riverside editing Packaging episodes Adding intros and outros Captions Audio improvements Video improvements Thumbnails Canva basics YouTube uploads Metadata Spotify podcast workflow General production best practice There will also be opportunities to assist directly with production work likely weekly for 2-3 months. Working Style Immediate Priority Initially, the role will focus on live coaching sessions via Microsoft Teams. Typical sessions will run for approximately 55 minutes, during which I'll share my screen while we work through real production tasks together. The objective is to coach me to become production independent as quickly as possible. Typical coaching topics include: Riverside recording; Editing; Episode packaging; Intros and outros; Captions, Shorts &Thumbnails We expect this to become an ongoing relationship as both channels continue to grow. YouTube uploads Podcast publishing General production workflow Assist with the creation and execution of our social media strategy across X and Instagram, helping repurpose long-form content into engaging posts, clips and captions that drive audience growth and direct viewers back to our YouTube and podcast channels. Medium & Longer-Term Relationship As production capability develops, we'd like to continue working together across two YouTube channels. The typical workflow will involve supporting live interview production and immediate post-production. Typical session may look like this: Hour 1 Join a Riverside call. Assist with production setup. Help oversee the live interview. Monitor audio, video and recording quality. Provide live production support if required. Hour 2 Immediately following the interview: Help record a short presenter introduction. Edit and package the interview. Add intro and outro assets. Produce the thumbnail. Prepare YouTube metadata. Upload and schedule the episode. Prepare podcast release where applicable. The objective is to develop a repeatable production workflow capable of taking a completed interview through to a professionally packaged YouTube and podcast release within approximately one hour. Typical ongoing commitment: Approximately 3–6 hours per week. Hourly Rate USD $20-25 per hour.
