Summary

We are looking for a creative video editor for a military and geopolitical analysis channel—someone who can create dynamic, narration-driven edits and replicate this style AS CLOSELY AS POSSIBLE: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LNGxHWUOrNk If you cannot match this editing style and level of animation, please do not apply. The main requirement is dynamic editing. Shots must change constantly. Whenever a helicopter, missile, aircraft, or another piece of military equipment is mentioned, it should be presented in a 3D environment. The necessary 3D models will be provided. Example: https://youtu.be/LNGxHWUOrNk?t=43 What the Editing Should Look Like: Specific Examples Carefully study these examples before applying. They demonstrate exactly the type of result we expect. Shots should constantly change, especially during scenes involving aircraft or other moving military equipment. For example, during an aircraft sequence: The first shot could show the aircraft flying from the ground perspective. The next shot could show the inside of the cockpit, with the camera focused on the pilot. The third shot could show the aircraft’s control panel and the pilot holding the control stick and operating the aircraft. The shots must continuously change and maintain a sense of motion through zoom-ins, zoom-outs, reframing, and dynamic camera movement. The footage must support the narration, immerse the viewer in the atmosphere, and hold their attention throughout the video. Whenever a specific piece of military equipment is mentioned, its name should appear on screen inside a yellow title box, making it easier for the viewer to identify and understand what is being shown. Example: https://youtu.be/LNGxHWUOrNk?t=4 Animated Maps and Icon Animations This is the minimum standard for all map sequences. The maps should be simple, clean, and movement-focused. Animated icons must be used, and troop, aircraft, ship, or vehicle movements should be shown with dotted route lines. Example: https://youtu.be/uwCVj6oj63s?t=7 Full Editing Reference and the Channel We Are Hiring For You must watch and analyze the videos on this channel and match the editing style, title boxes, visual effects, transitions, pacing, and overall visual language as closely as possible. Naturally, we expect the final editing quality to be even better. https://www.youtube.com/@MadsonBrief These videos demonstrate the required production standard. Dynamic editing involving military equipment and animated maps is essential. Maps may need to show troop movements, territorial changes, naval positions, pirate movements, supply routes, and other relevant information. EVERY VIDEO MUST INCLUDE SOUND EFFECTS THROUGHOUT. For example: If a tank is moving, there must be an appropriate tank sound. If a helicopter is flying, there must be a helicopter sound. If a weapon is fired, there must be a matching gunshot sound. All major actions and movements shown on screen must be supported by appropriate sound design. If you cannot produce this type of editing, please do not apply. The Job in One Sentence Animated maps, a dynamic pace with frequent shot changes, narration-driven editing, videos approximately 10–15 minutes long, 3–4 videos per week, and payment of $120 per video, plus an additional performance bonus at the end of each month for strong results. Mandatory Requirements Animated maps showing troop movements, naval positions, routes, and territorial changes are mandatory. They must appear in every video. Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects is required. Knowledge of Blender will be a significant advantage. Footage must be sourced from YouTube, DVIDS, X, Telegram, public-domain sources, official military releases, government publications, and reputable news organizations while respecting copyright requirements. Music will be sourced from Epidemic Sound and Artlist.io. The visual footage must precisely match the narration. Using the wrong flag, location, country, or geography will immediately damage credibility with this audience. All military equipment shown in the video must be accurate. For example, if the narration mentions an F-35 but the video shows an F-22, it damages the credibility of the entire piece. Every detail must meet a high professional standard. Transformative editing must be used throughout the entire video. This includes reframing, cropping, zooming, adding overlays, animating visual elements, and precisely timing all footage to the narration. The final result must feel like a coherent and immersive visual story—not a simple slideshow of unrelated footage. If the quality of your work matches or exceeds the examples provided, we would like to work with you. How to Apply Send two or three examples of your previous editing work. At least one example must include animated maps and work with 3D models.
