YouTube Scriptwriter & Researcher (AI, Geopolitics & Tech Industry, Finance, Current Events)

We are seeking a talented YouTube Scriptwriter and Researcher for our analytical video essay channel focused on the global AI race, tech policy, geopolitical shifts, how artificial intelligence is reshaping industries and other general current events. Our channel style is clinical, objective, and data-backed (similar to Species Documenting AGI, Polymatter, or Kraut), avoiding sci-fi hype or "doomsday" hyperbole in favor of deep, economic and systemic analysis. What You’ll Do: - Conduct thorough research using primary sources, industry reports, and current geopolitical news. - Structure long-form YouTube video scripts (8–12 minutes / ~1,500–2,000 words). - Write engaging, high-retention narrative arcs with strong hooks, clear thematic chapters, and visual cues for video editing. - Extract sharp, 30–60 second micro-narratives/hooks to be adapted into YouTube Shorts. What We’re Looking For: - Proven experience writing video essay or documentary-style scripts for YouTube. - Strong interest and understanding of the AI world, Geopolitics, economics and current events. - Ability to explain complex macro trends in plain, authoritative, and engaging language. - Zero reliance on generic ChatGPT-generated text.
