YouTube Thumbnail Designer — Scroll-Stopping Designs

About the Role We're looking for a talented thumbnail designer to create scroll-stopping YouTube thumbnails for our channel. Each thumbnail will be designed based on the context of the specific video, so you'll need to read the brief, understand the hook, and translate it into a click-worthy visual that stops people mid-scroll. This is an ongoing opportunity with steady, recurring work for the right person. We're not after one-and-done — we want a go-to designer we can keep sending videos to. What You'll Do Design eye-catching, high-CTR thumbnails based on the context and hook of each video Deliver 2–3 text/layout variations for every thumbnail so we can pick the strongest option (or A/B test) Use bold, readable text, strong contrast, and expressive imagery that performs on mobile and desktop Incorporate provided assets (screenshots, photos, logos) and source/create supporting imagery as needed Take feedback and iterate quickly Payment $15 per thumbnail. Each thumbnail includes 2–3 text variations. Volume is consistent, so reliable designers can expect regular work. What We're Looking For A portfolio of YouTube thumbnails (please include links or attachments) A proven sense of what makes a thumbnail clickable — composition, color, facial expressions, text hierarchy Fast turnaround and clear communication Ability to work from a short written brief / video context without lots of hand-holding Consistency across a series so our channel keeps a cohesive look Nice to Have Experience designing thumbnails that have measurably improved CTR Familiarity with high-retention/MrBeast-style thumbnail principles Quick edits and revisions on request
