YouTube Video Editor (Longform – Toy Brand Rise-and-Fall Documentary Niche)

We are looking for a talented YouTube Video Editor to create engaging long-form business documentary/storytelling videos about iconic toy and consumer brands. Topics include: - Rise and fall stories of legendary toy companies - Corporate decisions, mismanagement, and rivalries that destroyed once-dominant brands - Founders, inventors, and the executives behind their success and downfall - Licensing wars, acquisitions, and patent battles - Pop-culture nostalgia paired with real business history - Viral and surprising facts about how beloved brands collapsed Reference Style: We are looking for editing quality similar to this style: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=em3TFPOljlY&t=294s Please note: we are specifically going for a serious, business-documentary tone — calm, authoritative pacing with archival-style footage and grounded storytelling — NOT a fast-cut, pop-culture nostalgia recap style. What We Provide • Full script • Voiceover • Topic and creative direction Your Job • Find relevant video clips, photos, maps, and visuals that match the story • Source footage from YouTube and other public sources • Edit complete 9-10 minute YouTube videos • Add motion graphics, zooms, overlays, subtitles, and visual effects where appropriate • Create engaging visuals that support the narration • Maintain high viewer retention throughout the video Important Editing Rules You must follow Fair Use principles: • No single clip longer than 7 seconds • Use cuts, zooms, overlays, animations, and multiple sources • Transform the material into a new original video • Avoid repetitive visuals Testbudget We have a $70 budget. We need 3 videos, approximately 10 minutes each. If the quality is good, this will turn into ongoing work.
