YouTube Video Editor Needed, Anime Content Channel (Ongoing, 3-4 Videos/Week)
Worldwide
About the Role We're looking for an experienced YouTube video editor to join our team on an ongoing basis, editing videos for an established anime-focused YouTube channel. This is a consistent, long-term opportunity for the right person — we need 3-4 videos edited every week, each 15-20 minutes in length. You'll be given the video topic, script, voice-over audio, and full instructions via Trello for every video. From there, it's your job to take those materials and turn them into a polished, upload-ready video within a 24-hour window. What You'll Be Working With Pre-written scripts and recorded voice-overs provided for every video Clear topic and creative direction provided per video via Trello Source footage/clips will either be provided or need to be sourced by you as part of the edit (details clarified per project) Requirements Proven experience editing YouTube videos, ideally in commentary, anime, or similar niche content Strong working knowledge of YouTube copyright policy — this is essential. You must understand fair use, content ID, and how to edit in a way that keeps the channel safe. The channel uploading this content cannot receive strikes or bans under any circumstances, so copyright awareness isn't optional Comfortable working to a strict 24-hour turnaround per video Able to consistently deliver 3-4 videos per week Familiarity with Trello (or willingness to learn quickly) Strong, responsive communication — you'll need to flag issues, ask clarifying questions, and confirm deliverables promptly Reliable access to professional editing software and the ability to export in a YouTube-ready format ⚠️ Portfolio Required to Be Considered Applications without previous work samples will not be reviewed. This is non-negotiable — we need to see real evidence of your editing ability before moving forward. Please include direct links to completed YouTube videos you've personally edited (not just clips or reels). Anime, commentary, or similar long-form niche content is strongly preferred, but any long-form YouTube editing work is welcome as long as it clearly demonstrates your skill level. To Apply Please include: Links to at least 2-3 previous YouTube videos you've edited — this is mandatory, applications without this will be skipped A brief note on your understanding of YouTube copyright policy and how you approach it when editing Your typical turnaround time for a 15-20 minute edit Confirmation you can commit to 3-4 videos/week on an ongoing basis We're looking to build a long-term working relationship with someone reliable, so please only apply if you're confident you can consistently meet the volume and deadline requirements, and only if you can show real prior work.
