YouTube Video Editor for Faceless Consumer/AI Investigation — 10–12 Minute Pilot
Worldwide
TITLE: YouTube Video Editor Needed for High-Quality Faceless Consumer/AI Investigation — 10–12 Minute Pilot PROJECT: We are launching a new faceless YouTube channel focused on independently testing AI tools and technology through real-world consumer experiments. We need an experienced YouTube editor to produce our first 10–12 minute flagship video. This is not a generic “AI news” video and we do not want a typical low-quality faceless/automation style. The desired style is a clean, intelligent consumer investigation built around real evidence, comparisons, data, screenshots, and storytelling. For this pilot, four leading AI systems were given the same $5,000 consumer decision. Their recommendations were independently compared, fact-checked, challenged, and scored. The complete research, experimental results, script, editorial direction, and source material will be provided. YOUR ROLE: Turn the supplied materials into an engaging, professional 10–12 minute YouTube video. The finished video should include: • Strong pacing and visual storytelling • Clean motion graphics and typography • Professional presentation of data, scores, rankings, and dollar amounts • Tasteful use of screenshots from actual AI responses • Simple animated charts/comparisons • B-roll or licensed stock footage where genuinely useful • On-screen evidence/citations where appropriate • Professional sound design and music • Accurate captions/subtitles • Smooth transitions without excessive effects • A strong visual reveal of the final rankings We will provide detailed editorial guidance, including recurring visual concepts such as: UNVERIFIED PROBLEM — when an AI recommends spending money to solve a problem the customer never established. CONFIDENCE GAP — when the confidence of an AI recommendation exceeds the strength or currency of its evidence. RECEIPT CHECK — claim versus independently verified information. SECOND OPINION SCORE — our final evaluation framework. STYLE: Think intelligent consumer documentary rather than flashy “AI guru” content. We value: Credibility over hype. Clarity over visual clutter. Evidence over stock footage. Storytelling over excessive effects. The audience should feel that someone carefully investigated the question on their behalf. Please do NOT apply if your primary editing style relies heavily on generic AI-generated imagery, unrelated stock footage, constant zoom effects, meme inserts, or excessive transitions. DELIVERABLES: 1. One finished 10–12 minute YouTube video in 4K or high-quality 1080p. 2. One clean master version without burned-in captions if captions are included separately. 3. Five vertical 9:16 short-form clips derived from the flagship video, approximately 30–60 seconds each. 4. Editable project/source files at completion. 5. All custom graphics and reusable templates created for the project. 6. A list or documentation of any licensed stock footage, music, fonts, or third-party assets used. 7. Commercial usage rights for all deliverables. BUDGET: Fixed-price pilot project. Target budget: $350–$500. Maximum budget: $500 for an exceptional candidate and clearly justified scope. Please quote your fixed price rather than an hourly estimate. TIMELINE: This is a time-sensitive pilot. Our target publication date is Saturday, July 25, 2026. We will provide the selected editor with a detailed script, research, source material, screenshots, and editorial direction to accelerate production. We strongly prefer: • Visual-direction/sample opening delivered within approximately 24 hours of receiving complete assets. • Full first cut within approximately 48–72 hours after visual direction is approved. • Final revisions completed promptly after consolidated feedback. Please apply only if you have genuine availability to begin immediately and can provide a realistic delivery schedule. Do not promise the July 25 deadline if you cannot reasonably meet it. APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS: Please begin your proposal with the words: “EVIDENCE FIRST” Then answer these four questions: 1. Link to the ONE portfolio example that best demonstrates your ability to make research, data, technology, business, or consumer information visually engaging. 2. Briefly explain how you would visually present this moment: “An AI recommended a $300 product to solve a problem the customer never said he had.” 3. What would you deliberately avoid doing when editing a credible consumer-investigation video? 4. What is your fixed price and turnaround time for the scope described above? Please do not send a long generic cover letter. We are looking for someone who understands the editorial concept, not simply someone who knows editing software. There may be recurring work if the pilot performs well.
