YouTube Video Editor for Female Vlogger

Hi! I'm Lilly, the creator behind Gracefully Lilly — a NYC-based travel and lifestyle channel that I run with my wiener dog Junie (she's my main character energy, honestly). I'm looking for a freelance YouTube editor to take long-form travel vlogs off my plate so I can focus on filming and creating. About the content: Long-form travel vlogs (think 10-20 min) shot around NYC and on trips around the world. I want edits that feel fast-paced and punchy but still tell a real story — docu-style pacing, strong narrative threads, and personality. Not just B-roll set to trending audio. I want viewers hooked from second one and emotionally invested by the end. What you'd be doing: Editing 1-2 long-form vlogs per month from raw footage I provide from my iPhone or DJI Osmo Pocket Cutting for story, pacing, and retention (hooks, pattern interrupts, payoffs) Color correction, sound mixing, music selection, basic motion graphics/text Adding subtitles and chapter markers (if necessary) Light thumbnail input is a plus but not required!!! I can handle this if need be. You're a great fit if you: Have edited travel, lifestyle, or vlog content for YouTube before (please send examples!) Understand YouTube retention and how to keep viewers watching Can take direction but also bring creative ideas to the table Are reliable with deadlines and easy to communicate with Bonus: love dogs, because Junie will be in literally every video Logistics: Paid hourly is between $8-$10 with a possibility to increase as we continue working together.
