# YouTube Video Editor for Lifestyle + Personal Brand Channel ## About the Channel I’m building a YouTube channel focused on lifestyle, motherhood, fitness, personal growth, studying, career development, and creating a high-performance life as a new mom. I’m looking for a reliable YouTube video editor who can help turn my raw footage into engaging, polished long-form videos that keep viewers watching. ## What You’ll Do * Edit YouTube videos (approximately 8–20 minutes) * Create engaging pacing and storytelling * Remove unnecessary pauses and improve flow * Add B-roll, music, sound effects, and simple transitions when appropriate * Add captions/subtitles where helpful * Create a visually appealing but authentic lifestyle YouTube style * Help improve viewer retention through editing choices * Create occasional YouTube Shorts/Reels clips from long-form videos ## Ideal Candidate You have experience editing: * Lifestyle YouTube channels * Vlogs * Motherhood/family content * Fitness or self-improvement content * Personal brand channels You understand that YouTube editing is about storytelling and retention, not just adding effects. You should have: * Strong attention to detail * Good sense of pacing * Ability to follow a consistent editing style * Excellent communication * Ability to meet deadlines ## Bonus Skills * Experience with YouTube analytics and retention * Ability to suggest improvements to hooks and pacing * Thumbnail design experience * Short-form content editing experience ## Workflow I will provide: * Raw footage * Talking-head clips * B-roll footage * Any notes or ideas for the video You will provide: * Final edited YouTube video ready for upload * Project files if needed ## Starting Scope I would like to start with a paid trial project.
