YouTube Video Editor for NBA News & Storytelling Channel (Long-Form)

I'm looking for a skilled video editor to help create engaging NBA-focused YouTube videos. The content will be a mix of: NBA news Player stories Historical NBA content Rankings and debates Trade rumors and analysis Documentary-style storytelling Videos will typically be 8–15 minutes long and rely heavily on visuals to keep viewers engaged. What You'll Do Edit long-form YouTube videos from provided scripts and voiceovers Source and organize relevant visuals (NBA footage, images, screenshots, graphics, articles, tweets, etc.) Create engaging pacing and retention-focused edits Add motion graphics, statistics, player comparisons, rankings, timelines, and on-screen text Use zooms, transitions, sound effects, and animations where appropriate Deliver polished, YouTube-ready videos Style References The goal is to create videos that feel informative, modern, and highly visual—not just gameplay highlights. Requirements Experience editing YouTube content Strong storytelling instincts Ability to find and incorporate supporting visuals Familiarity with NBA basketball is a major plus Experience with Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut, and/or After Effects Ability to meet deadlines consistently
