Expert YouTube Video Editor (Travel & Documentary Style) We’re looking for an expert YouTube editor to join Milk Crate Stories, a growing YouTube channel hosted by Sammy Lacey. Our videos focus on unique travel experiences, incredible hotels, amazing food, and extraordinary businesses. Think cinematic storytelling mixed with an engaging vlog style. This is not a basic editing job. We’re looking for someone who understands modern YouTube retention and can create videos that keep viewers watching from start to finish. What You’ll Edit Every week you’ll produce: * 2 YouTube videos (10–15 minutes) * 6 YouTube Shorts created from the long-form footage This is an ongoing role (6+ months). What We’re Looking For We’ll provide our editing framework and examples of the style we want. Your job is to recreate that style consistently with very little direction. Your edits should include: * Strong 30-second hooks * Fast-paced storytelling * Excellent pacing * Creative transitions * Professional sound design * Motion graphics and text animations * Maps and travel graphics when appropriate * Stock footage and B-roll * Music that builds emotion and energy * Pattern interrupts to keep viewers engaged * Clean colour grading and audio The finished videos should feel polished, cinematic, and highly engaging. Requirements You should: * Have experience editing successful YouTube videos * Understand viewer retention and pacing * Be able to tell a story through editing * Require very little handholding * Be reliable and meet deadlines * Communicate well * Be open to feedback while maintaining a high standard of work Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro is required.
