We are looking for a skilled and reliable YouTube Video Editor to join our content team for ongoing projects. The ideal editor should understand YouTube content, storytelling, pacing, audience retention, and professional post-production. We’re looking for someone who can transform raw footage into engaging, polished videos that keep viewers watching. Responsibilities • Edit long-form YouTube videos professionally • Create strong hooks and retention-focused pacing • Remove unnecessary pauses, repetitions, and dead space • Add relevant B-roll, stock footage, images, and visual elements • Create engaging text overlays and captions when appropriate • Apply professional sound design, music, and audio cleanup • Perform color correction and basic color grading • Use transitions and effects appropriately without over-editing • Deliver high-quality, YouTube-ready videos • Follow instructions and meet agreed deadlines • Communicate clearly and respond to feedback Requirements • Proven experience as a YouTube Video Editor • Strong understanding of storytelling and viewer retention • Good knowledge of editing software such as Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or equivalent • Strong attention to detail • Reliable communication and ability to meet deadlines • Ability to follow a specific editing style and also contribute creative ideas • Availability for ongoing/long-term work is preferred APPLICATION REQUIREMENT Please read carefully. Please provide 2–5 of your best YouTube editing samples, preferably videos similar to the type of content you normally edit. Your Google Drive folder must be accessible so we can review the samples. In your proposal, please also answer: 1. What editing software do you use? 2. What type of YouTube videos do you specialize in? 3. What is your typical turnaround time for a 10–15 minute video? 4. Are you available for ongoing weekly projects? 5. What is your rate per video? Proposals without relevant past-work samples will not be considered.
