Long-Term AI Video Creator / Cinematic Editor for YouTube History Channel We are building a new YouTube channel focused on cinematic alternate history documentaries. Our videos explore questions like: “What if one event in history had changed?” The style is cinematic, immersive and documentary-like, combining AI-generated visuals, stock footage, light animation, sound design and smooth editing. We have already completed our first video, which perfectly represents the style we are aiming for. We will provide it as a reference. What we will provide For every video, we will provide: * A complete script * Voice-over (or AI voice) * Creative direction when needed * Reference video showing the exact style we want Your job is to transform the script into a compelling YouTube video. Responsibilities * Create AI-generated images and videos where appropriate * Find copyright-safe stock footage and images when they fit better than AI * Animate static images with subtle camera movement (no need to animate everything) * Edit everything into a polished cinematic documentary * Add transitions, pacing, sound effects and background music * Maintain a consistent visual identity across all videos Style we’re looking for The editing should feel similar to modern documentary YouTube channels—not overly flashy, but cinematic and engaging. We prefer: * Strong storytelling * Beautiful compositions * Slow cinematic camera movement * High-quality AI visuals * Smooth pacing * Professional sound design Our videos are approximately 15–20 minutes long. Not every scene needs to be fully animated. Static images with subtle movement are perfectly fine when they improve the storytelling. Requirements Ideally you have experience with tools such as: * Midjourney * Flux * Higgsfield * Runway * Kling * Veo * CapCut / Premiere Pro / DaVinci Resolve / After Effects You don’t need to use all of them—what matters most is the final result. This is a long-term collaboration We are not looking for someone to edit just one video. Our goal is to publish consistently, so we are looking for someone who can become a long-term creative partner.
