Youtube Shorts Editor

I’m looking for a YouTube Shorts editor to help turn my long-form talking head videos into powerful, engaging shorts. My channel is focused on men’s life, relationship, leadership, and personal growth advice. The mission is simple: impact more men, help them wake up, and spread a message that actually changes lives. I currently create 1–2 long-form (15-45 minutes) YouTube videos per week. Each long-form video can usually be turned into 20–40 shorts. I’m looking for someone who can help create around 5 shorts per day, usually edited in batches and scheduled out for the week. What I need first: ‣ Find the best engaging/share worthy moments from long-form videos ‣ Cut them into strong 30–90 second shorts ‣ Make sure each short has a clear hook, strong pacing, clean captions, and ends on a high note, might cut pauses to pick up tempo ‣ Format the video properly for YouTube Shorts ‣ Make sure captions/text are not blocked by platform UI ‣ Export clean, high-quality shorts ready to upload, save in dropbox I need someone who understands what makes short-form content engaging. I've worked with people in the past who just gave me random clips and didn't understand how shorts work and why people engage. The right person should be interested in personal growth, relationships, men’s work, or advice-growth based content. You should be able to look at my past shorts, see what worked, understand why, and help create more of that, as well as similar competitors. Over time, this role can grow into: ‣ Creating strong titles for each short, using ai ‣ Uploading/scheduling shorts to YouTube and other platforms such as Tik Tok, Instagram Reels ‣ Tracking what performs best, and improving workflow ‣ Studying competitors and identifying patterns we can use to improve ‣ Helping improve the short-form content strategy I’m not looking for someone who just uses Opus Clip and sends rough clips. I want someone strategic, fast, reliable, and committed to improving the craft and learning from all the content on youtube about short's strategy and best practices. Right now, the main focus is simple: Create high-quality, engaging YouTube Shorts from my long-form videos.
