Youtube Video Editor — Faceless Celebrity Compilation Channel (Long-Term, Ongoing Work)

ABOUT THE ROLE I run a faceless YouTube channel in the celebrity feel-good niche (think "celebrities surprising fans" style compilations). I'm looking for a reliable long-term editor to take clips plus a provided voiceover and turn them into finished, retention-optimized videos. This is steady, ongoing work. I publish around 2 videos per week and want someone I can build a long-term relationship with, not a one-off. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING You'll take the clips I provide (with order and timestamps) plus a finished AI voiceover and assemble the full video. That means adding short B-roll setup shots before each main clip so the voiceover leads into the moment, adding text overlays (quote-bait style, in brand colors) and subtitles on the clip portions, and laying light background music under the voiceover. You'll cut clips tight (no clip over about 40 seconds), keep strong pacing with no dragging, and follow a clear written style guide I provide (cold open, no intro or outro, never talk over the emotional payoff, and so on). Before final delivery, you'll run a copyright check on a throwaway channel. MUST-HAVES You have experience editing celebrity, reaction, or entertainment compilation channels, so you understand this format and its pacing. You have a solid understanding of YouTube copyright and Content ID. You know what footage is safe to use, how to transform clips with zooms, reframing, and trimming to reduce claims, and how to run a copyright check before publishing. You follow a detailed style guide precisely and deliver fast, consistent turnaround. Strong, proactive communication is non-negotiable. You respond promptly, ask questions when something is unclear instead of guessing, give clear progress updates, and flag problems early. This is the single most important thing to me. SCHEDULE (PLEASE READ) I work on weekends also, and a lot of the production cycle happens then. I need an editor who is available to work weekends too. If weekends don't work for your schedule, this role won't be a fit, and that's completely okay, but please don't apply. I'd rather we both know up front. NICE-TO-HAVES Bonus points if you have experience sourcing your own clips for these channels, familiarity with retention and CTR best practices, or experience with faceless channel workflows.
