EU-based Spunky & Strategic Account Manager (AI-Empowered Creative Agency)
Worldwide
A little bit about us. We are an AI-empowered creative agency. We help complex brands execute with greater agility, tighter consistency, and stronger control across every market, channel, and campaign, without diluting the brand. We are not here to push output for output's sake. We build brand systems, campaign ecosystems, always-on storytelling, and multi-market adaptations, and we hold AI-enabled work to a higher standard through human direction, review, and brand-safe workflows. Our work spans clients such as Google, Coca-Cola, Standard Chartered, FedEx, SABIC, and Shangri-La. As we grow our presence in Europe, we're looking for an Account Manager to own client relationships and protect the quality of everything that leaves our doors. The role in one sentence.... You are the brand steward and the quality gate: you make sure the client always gets work that is on-brief, on-brand, and on-standard, and you keep the creative team and the client moving in lockstep. What you'll own 1. Be the brand steward - Hold a deep understanding of each client's brand- their guidelines, tone of voice, visual system, and what "on-brand" actually means for them. - Protect that standard on every deliverable, in every market and format, even as volume and speed increase. - Be the person who can confidently say "this is right for the brand" or "this isn't there yet." 2. Guardrail the work in both directions - From creative to client: Review what the creative team produces before it reaches the client. Pressure-test it against the brief, the brand, and the agreed standard. Nothing goes to the client until it's ready. - From client to creative: Translate client feedback, requests, and context into clear, actionable direction for the creative team. Filter noise, resolve contradictions, and protect the team from vague or constantly shifting input. - Catch problems early: scope creep, off-brief work, unrealistic timelines and raise them before they become issues. 3. Stay in lockstep with your Creative Director - Partner closely with the Creative Director on every account, sharing context, constraints, and client intent so the creative work starts from the right place. - Align on direction before work begins, and align again before anything is presented. - Balance two truths at once: what the client needs and what makes the creative strong. Your job is to find the path that serves both. 4. Stay in lockstep with your client - Be the client's main point of contact and their trusted partner - responsive, clear, and proactive. - Understand their business goals, not just their brief, so the work moves the needle for them. - Manage expectations honestly on timing, scope, and feasibility. No surprises. 5. Own the presentation - Prepare and lead clear, compelling presentations of creative work to clients. - Frame the work so the thinking behind it lands - not just what it is, but why it's the right answer to their brief. - Defend strong creative with reason and confidence, and know when to listen, adapt, and bring feedback back to the team. 6. Keep the account running smoothly - Manage timelines, deliverables, and day-to-day project flow across campaigns and markets. - Coordinate between client, creative, and any other partners so work moves on time and to standard. - Keep documentation, status, and next steps clear for everyone involved. What we're looking for: - Based in Europe. - Experience as an Account Manager, Account Executive, or similar client-facing role in a creative, advertising, branding, or marketing agency. - A genuine instinct for brand, you can tell when something is on-brand and on-standard, and articulate why. - Excellent written and spoken English, with strong presentation skills. - Strong judgment under pressure: you know what to escalate, what to solve quietly, and what to push back on. - Organized, proactive, and calm - comfortable holding many moving parts without dropping the standard. - A collaborative temperament - you make both the client and the creative team better, not just busier. Nice to have: - Spanish (a plus, not required). - Experience working across multiple markets or with global brands, remotely - Comfort working in an AI-empowered creative environment, or curiosity to learn it. - Experience with retail, hospitality, luxury, or fast-moving consumer campaigns.
