E-com Creative Strategist Equestrian Brand
Worldwide
We’re looking for a high-output Creative Strategist to lead the creative operation for a fast-growing ecommerce brand in the equestrian niche. This is not a position where you spend a week perfecting one creative brief. We test a high volume of creatives, work with multiple video editors simultaneously, and need someone who can move fast, maintain quality, and use performance data to continuously improve the next batch of ads. Your Role You will own the feedback loop between: Ad Performance → Analysis → Creative Strategy → Editors → New Creatives → Performance Your job is to make that loop happen fast and consistently. You will: Supervise multiple video editors at the same time Review a high volume of creatives quickly Give editors clear, actionable feedback instead of vague comments Approve, reject, or request revisions without becoming a bottleneck Analyze Meta ad performance and identify patterns across winning and losing creatives Understand why an ad worked — hook, angle, offer, format, pacing, creator, audience awareness, etc. Turn those insights into new creative briefs and iterations Develop new hooks, concepts, angles, advertorials, UGC concepts, and ad structures Create variations of winning ads before they fatigue Maintain an organized creative testing pipeline Track what has already been tested so we're not repeatedly testing the same ideas Work closely with editors and other creative team members to continuously increase output and win rate What We're Looking For We care much more about speed + judgment + analytical thinking than fancy presentations. You should be someone who can look at 15–30 creatives, quickly identify what needs changing, communicate it clearly to editors, and move on. You should have: Experience as a Creative Strategist for a DTC/ecommerce brand Strong understanding of Meta advertising Experience managing or supervising multiple video editors Experience producing creatives at high volume Strong understanding of direct-response advertising Ability to read creative performance data and translate it into decisions Excellent understanding of hooks, angles, awareness levels, offers, UGC, storytelling, and advertorial-style ads Extremely fast turnaround time Strong organizational skills Ability to give concise and specific creative feedback Equestrian experience is a major advantage. You don't necessarily need to be an expert rider, but you need to understand that advertising to horse owners is different from advertising a generic consumer product. Experience with horses, equestrian brands, animal wellness, pets, or similar markets is highly preferred. What Success Looks Like We don't measure success by how many documents you create. We measure it by: Creative Output × Creative Win Rate × Speed of Iteration A strong Creative Strategist should help us produce more creatives without sacrificing quality, identify winning patterns faster, and make sure insights from our advertising data actually influence what the creative team produces next. You Probably Won't Be a Fit If... You need several days to create one creative brief You give editors vague feedback like “make it more engaging” You don't regularly look at advertising data You're uncomfortable managing several creatives and editors simultaneously You're highly creative but disorganized You become the bottleneck in the creative production process Your strategy is mostly based on personal taste instead of performance data To Apply Please send: A short introduction about your experience Ecommerce brands you've worked with Approximately how many new creatives you managed per week How many video editors you've supervised simultaneously An example of how you used ad performance data to decide what creatives to produce next Any experience you have with horses or the equestrian industry
