E-commerce Expert Needed to Restructure Jewelry Website Navigation & Categories
Worldwide
We are looking for an experienced e-commerce specialist to completely reorganize the category and subcategory structure of our online jewelry store, niknenzcollections.com. Currently, our product catalog needs to be restructured to reflect the clean, intuitive, and premium navigation seen on top-tier professional jewelry websites (such as Missoma.com). The new taxonomy must accommodate our existing inventory while providing a highly scalable framework so we can easily add new product lines in the future. The brand leans toward a luxury, minimalist aesthetic, and the site's navigation needs to reflect that same seamless and elegant customer experience. Key Responsibilities: Audit & Strategy: Analyze our current product catalog and propose a logical, user-friendly category and subcategory hierarchy. Navigation Redesign: Create a clean and intuitive main menu navigation that allows customers to effortlessly browse by jewelry type, collection, material, or style. Product Reassignment: Rearrange and accurately tag/map all existing products into the newly approved categories. Future-Proofing: Ensure the new structure is scalable and clearly documented so our team can easily assign new products to the correct categories moving forward. Reference Sites: For an idea of the operational standard and clean navigation we are aiming for, please review missoma.com or similar high-end jewelry brands. Requirements: Proven experience in e-commerce merchandising, taxonomy, and site architecture. Previous experience working with jewelry, fashion, or luxury e-commerce brands is highly preferred. Strong understanding of user experience (UX) and how site navigation impacts conversion rates. Excellent attention to detail to ensure zero products are "lost" during the migration to the new categories. To Apply: Please provide: Examples of e-commerce stores (preferably jewelry or fashion) where you have structured or improved the navigation and categories. A brief outline of how you would approach reorganizing a jewelry catalog. Your estimated turnaround time for this project.
