AI E-commerce Solutions Engineer

About Us We are a growing UK-based Shopify e-commerce business specialising in premium electric scooters and accessories. We are looking for an experienced Shopify engineer with AI and API integration experience to help us build an internal AI-powered growth platform. This is not a chatbot project. Our goal is to create an AI assistant that continuously analyses our Shopify store, SEO, Google Shopping and advertising performance to identify opportunities to increase traffic, conversion rate and profitability. Initially, the platform will provide recommendations only. Future phases may include approval-based automation. Project Overview We are looking for an experienced engineer to design and build Phase 1 of an AI-powered internal business assistant. The AI should act like a Head of E-commerce, proactively analysing business data and recommending improvements rather than waiting for questions. This will become an ongoing project, so we are looking for someone interested in building a long-term technical partnership.
