E-commerce accountant

We're looking for an accountant or bookkeeper for a short-term engagement to help clean up and stabilize our finances. Kawaii Van sells through Shopify (kawaiivan.myshopify.com) and TikTok Shop using a dropshipping model via CJdropshipping. Key Responsibilities Review and reconcile sales tax collected/remitted across platforms (Shopify + TikTok Shop marketplace facilitator tax) Identify and resolve any past filing gaps or discrepancies across states where we have sales or nexus exposure Advise on economic/physical nexus questions related to third-party fulfillment warehouses (CJdropshipping) Set up a simple, sustainable bookkeeping system for ongoing sales tax tracking Build a basic operating budget (COGS, platform fees, shipping, marketing, owner draw) to support pricing and margin decisions Provide a short written summary of findings and recommended next steps
