eCommerce Marketplace Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive eCommerce Marketplace Specialist to manage and optimize our growing presence across multiple online marketplaces. This role is responsible for the day-to-day administration, maintenance, and performance of our marketplace accounts while ensuring product listings are accurate, inventory levels are synchronized, customer orders are processed efficiently, and marketplace standards are consistently met. The ideal candidate has experience working with multiple eCommerce marketplaces, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys improving operational efficiency while helping drive online sales growth. Key Responsibilities Marketplace Administration Manage daily operations across multiple online marketplaces, including: Walmart Marketplace Target Plus eBay Staples Office Depot Grainger Amazon Wayfair Overstock Newegg Other B2B and B2C marketplace platforms Monitor marketplace account health and ensure compliance with each platform's policies and performance standards. Troubleshoot listing issues, suppressed products, catalog errors, and marketplace notifications. Product Listing Management Create, update, and optimize product listings across all marketplace channels. Ensure product titles, descriptions, specifications, pricing, images, videos, attributes, keywords, and categories remain accurate and up to date. Coordinate with marketing and product teams to launch new products and update existing content. Maintain consistency across all sales channels. Inventory & Catalog Management Ensure inventory quantities remain accurate and synchronized across all marketplaces. Monitor stock availability to prevent overselling and out-of-stock situations. Coordinate inventory updates with internal operations and warehouse teams. Verify pricing accuracy and promotional offers across all channels. Order & Customer Operations Monitor incoming marketplace orders to ensure timely processing and fulfillment. Work with customer service and warehouse teams to resolve order issues quickly. Manage returns, cancellations, refunds, and shipment exceptions. Help maintain high customer satisfaction metrics and marketplace seller ratings. Performance Monitoring Monitor sales performance, Buy Box status, pricing competitiveness, and listing health. Identify opportunities to improve conversion rates and increase marketplace sales. Generate regular reports on marketplace performance, sales trends, inventory, and operational metrics. Recommend improvements to increase efficiency and revenue. Administrative Responsibilities Maintain accurate marketplace documentation and operational procedures. Assist with new marketplace onboarding and account setup. Coordinate with internal departments including Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, Operations, and Purchasing. Ensure all product data, pricing, and inventory updates are completed accurately and on schedule. Qualifications Required 2+ years of experience managing eCommerce marketplaces. Strong experience with Walmart Marketplace, eBay, Amazon, or similar platforms. Excellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets. Experience with inventory management and product catalog administration. Preferred Experience managing B2B marketplaces such as Grainger, Staples, Office Depot, or Target Plus. Experience using Shopify, BigCommerce, Magento, or similar eCommerce platforms. Familiarity with marketplace integrations, inventory synchronization software, and ERP systems. Knowledge of SEO best practices for marketplace product listings. Experience with ChannelAdvisor, Feedonomics, Linnworks, Sellbrite, ChannelEngine, CedCommerce, or similar marketplace management platforms.
