3D enviroment modeler for a 2.5D mobile game in Unity.

I'm Evans Ti, a solo developer building SealSimulcarum — a cozy idle collection game where players attract seals to a little island by leaving out food and treats (think Neko Atsume, but with seals instead of cats). The art direction is soft, warm, and cute — somewhere between Chiikawa and Neko Atsume: rounded shapes, gentle colors, an inviting "I want to live here" feel. Built in Unity 6. What I need: A cutesy beach / aquarium-style island environment where the seals gather and relax. The game uses a 2.5D approach — 2D character sprites placed in a 3D scene — so I'm open to either stylized 3D environment art or painted 2.5D backgrounds that composite cleanly into Unity, whichever suits your strengths. We'll likely start with a single "hero" island scene and expand to more areas from there. Skills I'm looking for A soft, cute, cozy art style (please share a portfolio that shows this) Environment / background art for games (2.5D or stylized 3D) Comfort delivering Unity-ready assets, or close collaboration on how they get set up Bonus: experience with mobile-friendly optimization Deliverables & source files Final assets plus editable source files (e.g. PSDs, or the native project files for whatever tools you use). Source files are required so I can make adjustments and integrate cleanly into Unity. Timeline: Ideally completed by the end of July. How I like to work Milestone-based payment, usually starting with a small paid first scene to confirm we're a good fit I provide references, a style guide, and clear briefs, and I'm responsive to questions Friendly, low-pressure collaboration — I'd rather get the vibe right than rush it To apply Please share your portfolio (especially anything cozy, cute, or environmental) and a quote based on your own process. I'd love to hear how you'd approach the hero island scene, your rate for it, and a rough timeline. If possible, also include a per-scene rate so I can plan for expanding to additional areas later. Looking forward to seeing your work!
