3d flexi models needed

We are a small US toy company. We 3D print all of our toys ourselves on our own farm of Bambu A1 printers with AMS. We design for production — every file we accept goes straight to our printers. The project — and why this is a long-term seat We are launching a SEA LIFE line of 25 flexi articulated animals. After the sea life line comes a mountain line, a mythical line, a pet line, a dinosaur line, a space line, and more lines after that. We are not shopping for one file — we are looking for a designer to build a long-term relationship with, someone who becomes OUR designer across all of these lines, with steady work month after month. Every designer starts with ONE animal as a paid test job. If your test prints well on our farm, you get more animals from the line and a seat for everything that comes after. Your test animal will be assigned when we accept you — we will attach a reference file of the animal plus our style references. What you will design — print-in-place flexi toys Articulated bendy/wiggly body, prints in one piece, NO supports. PLA on Bambu A1 with AMS. PRODUCTION RULE (most important): we print full plates. 20–25 copies of the toy must fit on one 256×256mm plate, and the full plate must slice to UNDER 12 HOURS in Bambu Studio. In practice this means each toy comes out roughly 60–75mm long and about 15–25 grams. Check the plate time in the slicer before delivering — a plate over 12 hours will not be accepted. MULTICOLOR is the whole point of our toys — do NOT design single-color animals. But the colors must be organized. Keep each color in clean zones — by layer height wherever possible — so the printer changes filament a handful of times per print, not 600 times. Every extra color change wastes filament and adds print time. A smart 3–4 color design looks fully multicolor but changes colors in an organized, minimal way. Maximum 4 filament colors per toy, chosen ONLY from our color chart (attached). These are the exact filaments we stock — do not design with any color that is not on the chart. Flat bottom, so it prints directly on the plate. Inside the toy, near the bottom: a flat rectangular pocket, 11mm × 21mm and 0.6mm deep, placed 2–3 layers above the bottom surface, with a slicer pause set at that layer. (During the pause we place a flat sticker in the pocket, then the print continues and covers it.) On the flat bottom of the toy: engraved text that says "TAP ME" plus a tap symbol — a small dot with 3 curved signal lines coming out of it (image attached). Engraved means sunk into the surface, not raised. Everything must be printed — no glued parts. Eyes are printed too: a raised white dome with a dark pupil. Files to deliver per animal STL + your editable source file (Blender, Fusion, etc.) Bambu Studio 3MF project with the pause set at the pocket layer A production plate 3MF: 20–25 copies arranged on the 256×256mm bed, sliced under 12 hours Photos of your own test print are a big plus. Rights This is for retail manufacturing. The design must be 100% your original work — no remixes of existing models, no AI-generated meshes — with full commercial rights transferred to us on payment.
