Summary

I'm looking for an experienced B2B go-to-market strategist for a single 60–90 minute strategy session. This is not an execution project. I'm not looking for someone to build funnels, run ads, write SEO content, manage LinkedIn outreach, or execute marketing campaigns. I'm looking for someone who has launched or advised early-stage productized B2B services and can help me decide the best way to launch mine. If we work well together, there may be future strategy sessions, but this engagement is intentionally limited to one focused discussion. About the Business I'm launching a productized B2B service that helps software companies navigate enterprise security reviews during the sales process. Website: DiligenceOps.com Please spend a few minutes reviewing the website before responding. It provides important context about the business, positioning, and service offering. I'm looking for feedback that is specific to DiligenceOps rather than general startup advice. The website, branding, Trust Center, and core deliverables are nearly complete. I'm now trying to determine the best go-to-market approach for the soft launch. Where I Am I've already spent significant time: Interviewing experienced professionals in the industry. Stress-testing the business concept. Building the website and customer-facing deliverables. Refining positioning and messaging. I believe the problem is real. The question I'm trying to answer now is: What is the best strategy for validating demand and acquiring the first paying customers? What I'm Considering Some of the approaches I'm evaluating include: Founder-led customer discovery Founder-led sales Design partner / founding customer programs Warm introductions Referral-driven outreach Trigger-based prospecting AI-assisted research Other early-stage go-to-market approaches I'm intentionally looking for someone who is comfortable disagreeing with my assumptions. If you think my current direction is wrong, I'd like to hear why. What I'm NOT Looking For At this stage, I'm not looking for recommendations involving: Paid advertising SEO Marketing funnels Lead magnets Large content strategies Marketing automation Expensive software stacks Those may become relevant later. Right now my only objective is to determine the simplest and most effective path to landing the first paying customers while learning as much as possible from those conversations. The Discussion I'd Like To Have If this were your business... You have: A completed service A professional website Clear positioning A limited budget One focused strategy session What would you do next? More importantly... Why? I'm less interested in generic frameworks than I am in hearing how you would personally approach this situation based on your experience. Proposal Questions Please answer the following as briefly as you'd like. 1. Have you personally launched or advised a productized B2B service? If so, tell me about one. 2. If this were your business, what would you do next? Please prioritize your recommendation rather than listing every possible strategy. 3. Which one assumption in my thinking would you challenge? 4. Which go-to-market strategy would you NOT recommend at this stage, and why? 5. What's one thing you think I'm overlooking? 6. What outcome would you expect us to achieve by the end of a single 60–90 minute strategy session? 7. After reviewing the website, how would you describe DiligenceOps in one or two sentences? I'm looking for thoughtful, experience-based advice rather than generic startup recommendations.
