iOS App Store submission for a Swift cookbook app — ~20 hours

Summary

I have a Swift iOS app — Terra e Tavola, a regional Italian cookbook with 150 recipes — that was generated using Rork AI and is close to submission-ready. I need help getting it into the App Store. What I've already done: App is built, functional, and looks the way I want it to QA testing is complete — I have a numbered bug list ready to hand off. App Store copy is written (description, keywords, subtitle, promotional text, screenshot headlines). Apple Developer Program membership is active App content is fully populated: 150 recipes, 20 regions, ~50 glossary entries Marketing website is live (built on Lovable) What I need from you: Fix the specific bugs on my list — Swift work, mostly small polish issues. I estimate 4–6 hours based on the length of the list. Review a privacy policy I'll generate on Termly to confirm it accurately reflects the app's on-device-only behavior. About 30 minutes. Design App Store screenshots at Apple's required device sizes (iPhone 6.9" and 6.5" mandatory — iPad optional, we'll discuss). I need 5–8 marketing screenshots per size: real screen captures with headline text overlays and clean device frames. I'll provide the headline text for each. This is the biggest single time investment, probably 5–7 hours. Set up the App Store Connect listing — metadata, categories, age rating, privacy nutrition labels (short answer: "no data collected"), review information. Probably 3 hours. Submit for App Store review and handle first-round feedback. I'm reserving 2–4 hours for the inevitable Apple rejection loop. Deliverables: App live in the App Store. All source files handed back to me: modified Swift code, screenshot design files (Figma or Sketch), listing metadata as a written document. Milestones fixed price, split into two milestones: Milestone 1 — Bugs fixed, privacy policy in place, screenshots designed, listing complete in App Store Connect and ready to submit. I review and confirm before you submit to Apple. Milestone 2 — App submitted, Apple's first-round feedback addressed if any, app either live or in Apple's queue with no outstanding issues on our end. Requirements Portfolio must include at least 3 iOS apps you've submitted to the App Store with live links. I will tap through them on my phone. If the links go anywhere but a live App Store listing, that's a disqualifier. Swift experience. The app was generated in Swift, not React Native or Flutter. Don't bid if your portfolio is all cross-platform apps. 4.9+ Upwork rating with 20+ completed jobs. English clear enough to discuss trade-offs in writing. I'm US-based, native English speaker; we'll communicate in writing through Upwork. At least 2 hours of overlap with US Pacific time most weekdays for questions and quick decisions. To apply I've read a lot of copy-paste proposals and I'll skip past them. In your proposal, include: Direct links to 3 iOS apps you've shipped to the App Store. Not "under NDA" — real, live, tappable links. What you think the trickiest part of this job will be. One or two sentences. I want to see you've actually read the description. Real answer: "designing screenshots at the new iPhone 6.9" size while keeping the editorial cookbook aesthetic intact." A generic answer: "I have 8 years of experience and always deliver on time." A realistic timeline from start to submission — how many calendar days, given your current workload. I care about the schedule as much as the price. Bids without those three items I'll skip. Nice to have but not required Design background — you know how to lay out marketing screenshots with restraint, not clip art Familiarity with typography — the app uses DM Serif Display and Cormorant Garamond; screenshots should match Experience getting a cookbook, food, or lifestyle app through App Store review specifically (Apple has category-specific patterns) What's out of scope To be clear about what this budget does NOT include, and please don't propose otherwise: New features beyond bug fixes Custom food photography or illustration Marketing content (I've written it) App Store Optimization deep-dive — I want a competent submission, not a viral launch Handling more than 2 rounds of Apple review rejections (if we hit that, we'll talk about scope extension) iPad-specific redesign (iPhone-only for v1 is fine — we'll discuss iPad if it's a small delta) Post-launch fixes, analytics, crash reporting — separate engagement if needed
