iOS SwiftUI Architect — Clean Architecture Refactor | Marketplace App

The Project: We are refactoring an existing SwiftUI marketplace app to establish a scalable foundation. - Current Architecture: SwiftUI → Firebase → Firestore - Target Architecture: SwiftUI → ViewModel → UseCase → Repository → Integration → Firebase The goal is a pragmatic Clean Architecture refactor—not new features. Responsibilities: - Introduce ViewModel, UseCase, Repository, and Integration layers - Create protocol-based repositories with backend-independent contracts - Keep Firebase types fully isolated within the data layer - Refactor and optimize the Firebase / Firestore schema - Prepare the data model for different product categories - Design a MarketContext for multi-country support - Create clean domain models independent of Firebase - Standardize on async/await throughout the app - Set up dependency injection - Document the architecture for future Android replication Requirements: 7+ years iOS / Swift experience Strong SwiftUI expertise Production Clean Architecture experience Firebase / Firestore experience Protocol-oriented design mindset Marketplace, classifieds, or e-commerce app experience preferred
