What is ListingHero?

ListingHero is an AI-powered iPhone app for Australian real estate agents who photograph their own listings. The app guides agents room-by-room through a professional property shoot, then automatically enhances every photo using a third-party AI editing API (Fotolabs AI). Agents get professional-quality listing photos without hiring a photographer.

What Needs to Be Built: Stage 1 Only

Stage 1 is a working demo app the founder can show to agents in person. It is not a production-ready app — no payments, no real authentication, and no cloud storage are required.

• Dummy splash screen, tap to skip, no real login required
• Dashboard with hardcoded credit balance. Shoot history direly from Fotolabs API
• Full guided shoot workflow Multiple  rooms, composition tips, pre-shot checklists, progress bar
• Custom camera (AVFoundation), HDR exposure bracketing (−2, 0, +2 EV)
• Real-time level overlay, gyroscope-powered via CoreMotion, turns green when level
• Photo review screen, select photos to submit for editing
• Fotolabs API integration, upload 3 HDR frames, receive enhanced JPEG
• Before/after results screen , download to Camera Roll
• Shoot history, retrieves past shoots from Fotolabs API
• Lightweight backend to handle Fotolabs API calls securely

Out of scope for Stage 1
Do not price for: real authentication, Stripe or payments, credit logic, own cloud storage, Claude AI, push notifications, App Store submission.

Who We're Looking For

• Strong AVFoundation experience, custom camera work must be in your portfolio
• Experience with HDR or manual exposure control in iOS
• Native Swift / SwiftUI only,  no Capacitor, React Native, or web wrappers
• Comfortable integrating third-party REST APIs from a backend
• Clear communicator,  founder is non-technical in app development
• Australian timezone preferred but not essential

Budget and Timeline

Budget guidance: $1,500 – $3,000 USD (fixed price or milestones preferred)

Timeline: 4 – 8 weeks from project start

Engagement type Stage 1 now. Stage 2 full production build to follow for the right developer.

Deliverable: Working app on founder's iPhone + Xcode source code
