US-licensed lawyer for small trademark firm - no experience necessary

US-LICENSED LAWYERS ONLY! Applications MUST be a licensed lawyer in the United States (any jurisdiction). This is a legal requirement to work before USPTO. If you are not a licensed attorney in good standing in a US state, DC, Puerto Rico, Guam, USVI or other US territories, your application will be discarded without review. However, you can be of any nationality and work from anywhere in the world. You can set your own hours, with the caveat that some regular overlap with the owner/principal attorney (UK-based) is needed at least a few times per week. Lawyers who are also licensed in other countries are encouraged to apply. Must be LGBTQ friendly. LGBTQ-owned boutique law firm providing IP services to small to medium sized businesses around the world is seeking a lawyer to assist with its rapidly growing trademark practice. The successful candidate will be filing new trademark applications, responses to office actions, change of attorney/representative forms, and more. We work mainly with foreign IP agencies and law firms, who retain the firm as local US counsel on behalf of trademark owners. No experience is necessary. We are seeking a long-term collaboration. Part-time position to start. However, given the rapidity at which we are growing, there is a real possibility of full-time work in the very near future. Though applicants are not required to want to work full time. Though this is a contractor/freelance position, after a probation period some benefits/perks will be provided (such as paid time off) dependent upon where you live.
