Q/A tester needed

We are building a dating app and are looking for a detail-oriented, experienced mobile QA tester to help us ship a polished, bug-free product. This is a two-phase engagement, starting with hands-on exploratory testing and growing into structured test execution as the product matures. Phase 1: Exploratory Testing (immediate start) - Freely explore the app on your own real mobile device(s) and probe for bugs, UX issues, edge cases, and inconsistencies - Test across both iOS and/or Android - Log every finding as a Jira bug report in English: clear title, steps to reproduce, expected vs. actual behavior, severity, and attached screenshots or screen recordings Phase 2: Structured Test Execution (follow-on work) - Execute test cases step-by-step following our test guide / test plan - Mark test results (pass/fail/blocked), log regression bugs in Jira, and report coverage progress - Participate in regression cycles before major releases Requirements - Own device(s) required - Proven experience in mobile app QA testing (please share examples or past Upwork contracts) - Solid working knowledge of Jira for bug reporting - Strong written English (all communication and bug reports must be in English) - Familiarity with dating apps as a user is a plus - Ability to write clear, reproducible bug reports with visual evidence (screenshots/recordings) - Reliable availability and proactive communication Nice to have - Experience testing social or dating apps - Access to multiple devices or OS versions - Background in writing test cases or test plans
