AI voice system to call insurance companies and navigate IVR

Build an AI voice agent that places outbound calls to insurance payer support lines (for claims, eligibility, etc.), navigates the IVR menu automatically. After detecting a live agent simultaneously: a) engages and answers initial basic questions asked by live rep b) bridges / warm transfers the call to staff (dial VOIP phone number and extension) c) send a Windows desktop push notification to the user Once the staff member is on the line, the AI merges all parties onto the call. Staff then disconnects the AI from the app to take over directly (or the AI disconnects itself automatically after 30 seconds if staff hasn't done so) — recording stops the moment the AI leaves the call. The system will place 15–20 calls per day. The AI voice must sound natural enough that the payer's IVR or live rep does not detect it as automated and terminate the call. Goals • Eliminate staff time spent navigating IVR menus and waiting on hold. • Keep the live rep engaged with basic validation answers until staff joins the call. • Notify staff on their desktop the moment a live rep is reached, giving them time to pick up before the bridge leg rings. • Record and transcribe the AI-handled portion of every call for QA; stop recording once a human takes over. • Staff can see live call status and live transcription in the desktop app, and can disconnect the AI from the call at any time directly from the app. • Give an administrator visibility into all call recordings/transcripts to verify the system is working correctly.
