Most people define themselves by job titles. I don’t — because I’ve worked across sales, customer support, and small team leadership, and the real work was always the same: keep people moving forward without things breaking in between. I’ve worked in sales environments where I wasn’t just passing messages — I was handling conversations end-to-end. Understanding the customer, dealing with hesitation, following up properly, and closing without sounding pushy. A lot of that came down to timing, tone, and knowing how to keep things simple. On the operations side, I’ve worked with e-commerce workflows on Shopify where the job was the opposite: slow things down, fix errors, clean up communication, and make sure customers don’t feel ignored when something goes wrong — tracking issues, refunds, delivery delays, and order confusion. I’m currently rebuilding my Upwork profile and looking for long-term roles where I can take real ownership of customer communication, sales support, and operations — not just tasks, but outcomes.
