I have an audio engineering degree from an audio engineering school. I have been in and out of Temple University for a few years and will graduate in the spring with a degree in Media Production. I record and edit my own podcast called 'newt podcast', where I interview musicians and audio producers. I also record and edit a podcast called 'Two Jacked Bros', and a podcast called 'Ya F#cked It'. I do live sound for comedy, improv and theater shows throughout Philadelphia. I have also recorded several live shows that I also mixed and edited. I currently use Logic Pro X and Izotope for most of my editing, I also have experience with Audacity, Pro Tools and Acid Pro. I generally use a Zoom H4N Pro for recording live audio. I have experience with various soundboards and mixers. I am also a musician and beat maker so I have experience with various audio samplers, drum machines and instruments. I currently own a Roland MV-8800 drum machine, an Akai S-950 sampler, a microkorg and a Roland electric drum set. I am also a standup comedian and have done storytelling shows as well. I think that these things help me with editing, particularly with understanding comedic timing and how to cut and edit a story for time, while still having the story make sense.
