I'm a senior GIS and AI specialist. I build full geospatial and agent/LLM/ML/CV stacks, from the sensor design and data pipelines, to the central AI, and finally to the things your users touch. I hold a degree in Geography, have deep experience in Applied Artificial Intelligence, I work in ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, PostGIS, and Python. Demos below. Here's what full-stack means in practice. Hand me a question like "what's on this land, and can we build on it," and I can plan the imagery and sensing, write the pipeline that pulls and cleans the data, train the computer vision model that reads it, run the spatial analysis in PostGIS, put an LLM agent over the top that turns the raw findings into a plain answer and takes the next action, and then ship the answer three ways: an interactive web map, a mobile app, and a print-ready sheet at 300 DPI. That's one person handling the whole chain. What I build: - The full ML and computer vision stack. Labeling and training data, a model that detects or segments objects in satellite, aerial, and drone imagery, and an accuracy number I can defend. A couple of my demos run a trained model live in your browser. - AI apps and agents. LLM-backed tools on the OpenAI, Claude, and Gemini APIs: retrieval over your own documents, agents that call tools and take actions, scraping and enrichment pipelines, and Python engineering apps and platforms (VIKTOR, etc). Structured outputs I can trust in production, not a demo that falls over on real data. - Data pipelines and sensing strategy. What to collect and how to collect it, then the ingest, cleaning, and scraping that keeps the data current. - GIS and spatial analysis. ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, and PostGIS for cartography, heavy spatial analysis, and parcel or territory or site-selection work with an audit trail you can follow. - Dashboards, websites, and mobile apps. The interactive map, dashboard, site, or app your team and your customers open every day, built on real data you can check. - Print cartography. Journal-ready and boardroom-ready maps, georeferenced, at full print resolution. Where the "senior" part shows up: I have spent the last 4 years being hired by firms with complex geospatial needs and working in capacities from C-Suite collaborator to specialists team member. Companies I have managed for have raised hundreds of millions in venture funding, shipped thousand projects, and my team in my last role did over $4M of work here on Upwork. How I work: Some jobs are a clean fixed scope. Others run better as a monthly retainer while I sit alongside your team or manage it. Tell me what you're trying to make, and I'll suggest the setup that fits. Got a complex geospatial or AI build that needs more than one specialty in one head? Send me a note, and open the demos while you're deciding.

I have a unique set of skills that can help make all of your maps, graphics, reports, user guides, technical documents, proposals and presentations look professional, clean, and user-friendly. I have a technical background working for many years as a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) manager at a large municipality, specializing in SQL database administration, custom online mapping applications, and asset management CRM. I have extensive knowledge of ArcGIS Online, including setting up Field Maps, integrating with Make (formerly Integromat), creating custom dashboards, customizing with Arcade, and administering organization AGOL websites. In addition to my technical background, I am also an award-winning and published cartographer having won several ESRI User Conference Map Gallery awards, including First Place in a Map Series and Best Overall. Over the years, I've published hundreds of maps and map-related brochures, in addition to, other non-map-related collateral such as product packaging, business cards, brochures, invitations, t-shirts, logos, websites and banners using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator). I also have a strong technical writing background having written several software-related white papers, online help manuals, presentations, and user documentation for Javascript mapping applications, metadata software, and various mapping software. I'm efficient, professional, and have a unique ability to not only make things look great, but I also have the analytical skills to make sure the content is engaging, clear, and concise.

I'm a GIS analyst and cartographer with 8+ years of experience translating complex environmental, social, and operational data into maps and dashboards that actually get used. I've built interactive Tableau and ArcGIS Online tools for nonprofit disaster response, developed climate visualizations for international NGOs, and mentored students at Columbia University's School of Professional Studies and Climate School. My work has been featured at the Data Visualization Society's Outlier Conference. I work best with organizations where the data matters - environmental nonprofits, sustainability initiatives, climate advocacy groups, public agencies, and mission-driven teams. Whether you need a polished static map for a report, an interactive web map for stakeholders, or a Tableau dashboard that tells a story, I bring both the technical depth and the communication skills to get you there. My approach is equity-focused, collaborative, and delivery-oriented. I'll ask the right questions upfront so the final product fits your audience, not just your dataset.
