I do not work on top of (or rework/touch up) AI-generated imagery or writing. My work is 100% hand-drawn (digitally created with a stylus & tablet) and copyright-safe. AI references are okay for communication, but the final work I create will be original. I do NOT work on projects that involve the use of AI-generated images/writing in the final design or as part of the deliverables. Copyright: I retain copyright until full payment is received. Unpaid work remains mine and may be watermarked for protection. If a client is issued a refund for the work I did, I retain or regain the copyright, and they cannot use the work. Right to Refuse: I reserve the right to decline jobs. I do not accept jobs with a heavy political tone, NFTs, most vector jobs (most of my work is raster-based), AI content jobs, ideologically biased jobs, or rush orders. I may be open to doing some jobs, but I may decline others due to certain content or requirements. –Working With Me– Working with Art takes time. Please keep in mind that I don’t accept rushed, last-minute, or vague jobs. I will need to know about the content you want to create in minute detail. If you are uncomfortable with showing or telling me, I may not be able to work for you. I will be respectful with your sensitive information and material. Please plan out a reasonable timeframe for your project. If you aren't sure how long, send a message to ask. I'm happy to discuss it! Last-minute or rush jobs will be declined. It is not worth the stress to me. –Project Completion Estimation Guide– Comic books & Storybooks (12-24 pages): 2.5 to 3.5 months to complete, depending on detail/complexity. The more detail, the longer it takes. (Please have your script or story already completed before you approach me. If you don't have a script, I can write a script for you before I create the art. If I write the script for you, this will add time to the job.) Posters & Book Covers (elaborate): 1-2 weeks, usually 2 weeks, if elaborate. Simple book covers and posters take around 1 week or less. Creative Writing: 5,000-word short story or script: 1 to 2 weeks + revision time, as needed. –Developmental Editing & Beta Reading– Manuscripts up to: 5,000 words—3 days 20,000 words—5 days 40,000 words—7 days 70,000 words—14 days This is based on your quick correspondence with me while I work and have questions for you. The above timelines are estimates. On average, I check my messages every 24 hours, and I'm a reasonably fast worker. I often finish early, but I may need ALL the time I quote, depending on the scope of revisions and final drafts/art. My estimates are based on continuous communication between the client and me throughout the job. Actual completion times may vary. I am not responsible for late work if a client stops responding promptly while I'm working on their job.
