I'm an BIM manager, coordinator and modeller working in Autodesk Revit environment. At my latest workplace, I worked as a BIM manager who are using Revit and Autodesk Construction Cloud most of the time. In the last 3 years I participated large scale industrial projects which required BIM solutions, collaborative environments and specific workflows. What I love in BIM is that all engineers should perform equivalently to achieve a more precise result. That's why I've chosen Revit however I studied and used Graphisoft Archicad before. In my understanding Revit is a multi-disciplinary building related model authorization tool which also have the capability to create own elements (so called families) easily. Between projects I handled template developments, BIM documentations (BEP, EIR, workflow amnuals) and trainings.
